We had to wait at least 6 weeks after rendering to paint the house, and thankfully Dad was up to the task! This time he trialed flying down which ended up still taking just as long, the consensus is to just drive. Damien also thankfully took some time to help paint getting excited at the idea of using the spray gun!! He did just jump in with no prep meaning Dad and I ran around covering and wiping up after him. That considering, it came up great with minimal damage to the surrounds. Just a few trees we're a little worried about. So great that we didn't need to worry about the floor as the spraying was easier.
Height is definitely an advantage.
18 weeks pregnant
Painting did take A LOT out of me with my breathing becoming worse, even though I wasn't painting I was around the spraying and just got a but run down. I ended up back on steroids and am seeing my ENT tomorrow to fast track the dilation!
Edges and gutters even cleaning out the gutters!!
We taped up the entire front and back to paint the eves and shutters!! A big prep job that saved a lot of painting time! Spraying does use up a lot more paint but saves SOOOOO much time. I can't believe how quickly it was completed after taking weeks to do the sides by myself.
Still a work in progress but already receiving A LOT of compliments and can see the vision! Dad headed off and I spent the day taping, painting, washing and re-gauzing windows, a crappy job that had to be done. THANKS SO MUCH DAD for coming and getting this done!!! It would not have been done without you!!!! BEST thing ever.
END of an era- see ya to the land rover! After spending so much time customising the Landy, making his own checker board, roof racks, light bar, insulating, etc etc who would have thought the way it finally left us was being stollen and burnt!! One morning Damien realised the Rover wasn't in the carport and rang the police. He had the only key. I advertised it was missing on facebook which got a few replies saying it had been seen near the airport and horse stables. We went out about 8pm and had a look and called the police. The front seat had been burnt but still seamed saveable.

They took the key and were going to call when they'd dont their investigations for Damien to then get a tow. They didn't call! Meaning it was left over night again! MEANING the crooks came back the next morning and burnt it completely. A complete right off!
