Niagara

Our first day of seeing snow was a trip to NIAGARA FALLS, we got up early and picked up our 6 seater rental car (luxury bus), was a very compfortable 2 hour trip.

After parking the car and loading on the many essential layers for the 1 degree wheather (me with my Kath and kim jacket from vinies), we made our way over to the falls. The first glimps was exciting, they are huge. The day was a bit cloudy and the water was really mucky, a bit different from the pictures on post cards, but we still saw them. We got wet from the mist coming from the falls.

Em, steve and i went up the Skylon Tower to see the falls from above, it was cold and SO WINDY on the outside section of the tower but so funny trying to walk against the wind.

The Maid Of The Mist was not going that day unfortunatly, so we payed to go behind the falls. The yellow rain coats did not keep much of the water off, we got soaked. The mist from the falls is like heavy rain. We got up so close to the water, but you dont see much when you are actually behind them, its just really noisy.
