We are here!!!!!

So here i am at Dads house after about 30 hours of sitting on trains, cars, taxis and planes!!!! Dad and jenny have gone to work and Alex to school.

The houses in the street are so huge and everyone has started putting up christmas decorations, big red bows are everywhere.

There are squirrels running around EVERYWHERE up trees and across the road etc Its COLD i love it, but unfortunatly snow is not forecast untill next week.

I had a bagel and pancakes with malple sirup and the best perculated coffee ever for breky YUM!!! (Ash i had a bagel :) its so OC style here u would love it)

Im jet laged... woke up early bout 4am my body clock is out of wak has no idea what time it is because ive been sleeping alot etc on plane

Spent our first day just relaxing and then walked to some shops and spent our first Canadian $$$$ on a KFC lunch which was weird, the coleslaw is green and looks gross!!!! Went to a supermarket and everything is JUMBO sized (ie peanut butter jars are massive) Its taking me a while to get used of the money and have to ask shop poeple for help as to what the coins are ($1 is the shape of 50c, 5c is the size of 10c, $2 is gold and silver) Wierd stuff!!!

You have to be carefull of what you say eg thongs as in shoes are 'thongs' here, receipt instead of doket, a beanie is called a toque, you dont 'hire' ski stuff you 'rent' it as hiring something means a prostitute :-S there is so much we say and the poeple just stare at you and dont say anything because they dont understand

We went to the op shops (which are huge) to look for ski clothes i have a green jacket which is so kath and kim style but meh... i tried on alex's snow board its so awesome i cant wait till it snows!!!!!!!
