The train trip to Sydney was so long (wasnt feeling to great from night b4 events) next time im taking the plane, stayed at the formula 1 hotel and got the shuttle bus to airport next day. Went through so much customs stuff... em and i got frisked and i had to take my shoes off, the guy checked them but bending them etc said goodbuy to mum who cried ;-) and borded the plane!!!!!

We sat in the middle 3 seats at the very back of the plane 'very-very economy seats'. Our headsets didnt work so we couldnt listen to music or watch the movie with sound (i watched it anyway) i had my ipod which ran out of battery half way through the trip.
It was such a long trip... we got to Honolulu 'HAWAII' at 10pm there time, didnt get to see much as we were there for 40 mins and took the whole time going through customs AGAIN (taking shoes off etc) just to get back on the same plane in the same seats bit weird but at least i can say iv been to HAWAII

Another couple of hours and we were in VANCOUVER. We were getting pretty sick of just sitting in the plane so was good to walk around a bit. IT WAS SNOWING was so beautiful, big snow flakes falling really slowly on the termack and it was COLD. We ran to get our bags and to check them back in for the flight to Toronto. Our flights were so close together we did alot of running!!!! Steve had to go the the customs desk because he brought his stupid crocodile foot back scratcher for NO reason but to be random. The guy at the desk did not seem too shocked and explaned that a croc foot is nothing to what he has seen (elephant feet made into drums is a regular item). So there we wre BACK on a plane, different one this time and diff seats with working head sets, but at that time we were starting to feel the tension of travelling all we did the whole 4 hour flight was sleep, even sleeping through the breakfast, so we were pretty hungary when we arrived in Toronto.
Was 5 degrees when landed but it wasnt snowing as aparantly it had been a HOT day 10 degrees. Dad and Jenny were there waving as we walked out of the baggage clame place, they had been waiting for ages because our flight was an hour late. Sqished the bags in the car and was excited to see the stearing wheel on the 'wrong' side. Couldnt get used to looking at the right to other cars and seeing the driver. freaked out when one time the side passanger was waving his hands around, i thought far out put your hands on the wheel then remembered we're not in Australia anymore. There were so many cars... on the 20 lane highway.
So that was the billion hours we spent just getting here... i need a masage from all the weird seating arangements i put myself in to get compfy!!!! But we are finally here in Kitchener/Waterloo CANADA

wow - what a long trip! I left you guys at the customs door (must have had something in my eyes as they watered), had breakfast, looked at some shops, read a paper...then got onto an earlier flight at 10.45, flew home, had lunch out, unpacked, showered, did desk work, had tea, watched a movie - then realised YOU still had 8 hours to go!
