Rutherglen Winery Walkabout

On the same weekend that we were moving into the new clinic we also had locked in to going to RUTHERGLEN WINERY WALKABOUT with Em and Steve. We ended up getting most of the furniture done late Friday night, carrying the electric table in was an interesting experience.
Some hobo putting together my cupboard for the new clinic at about 9pm
Damien's new shed!! Has taken them a lot of weeks to move everything in and are now fully operating only from this shed. Mean while they have been FLAT CHAT getting Barters job done among others. Business is booming, just need a few more workers to get it done. I am very proud of his efforts and hard work, hopefully soon we can settle down a bit and spend some more time together.
Arrived in Albury for some beers around the fire at Em and Steve's, on the dirt patch where the pool used to be! Then up and at em' to the buses for the trop to Rutherglen. I hadn't been feeling great since Perth so slept most of the way. Nothing a breakfast Durif couldn't fix!

French toast for the frenchies
Always time for a promo
YUM!! Brekky Durif.
Down the hatch
we we
It was a great set up with hop on hop off bus rides to the next winery, of course taking our expensive bottle of red with us each ride. I wont pack a white bag next time! The bes fun was dressing up a bit and seeing all the inventive costumes, taking me back to uni days, not to mention the delicious wine. We ended up missing curfew for the last winery, where we were saving buying any wine for!! We were a bit pissed off by it, but it was their loss as we would have bought a bit.
Just like uni days the lads having a sing along in the bus on the way to the next winery.
Having an expensive wine on the bus ride.
Cheers bus drinks
Having a breather, most of the guys were pretty hungover from the day before.
Bottoms up bus drinks

Going for the hole in one
He missed..
We'd had a few reds.
We ended up in bloody Corowa for the night having a random pub meal and the guys heading off to another pub, kicking on with Steve's mates. I was losing my voice and feeling crappy so headed to bed. Next day was a maccas feed, yum!! Not. And the drive back to Albury. Quick kmart shop and back to Griffith to finish setting up the clinic and Damien headed back to work!!
