So excited for a much needed long weekend the girls and I planned a jam packed few days full of activities. Starting with an amazing dinner at the newly opened Thai restaurant after they couldn't find a chef for a few months, we were all longing for some Thai food and it didn't disappoint. YUM!! Followed by some massaging in the morning on Saturday before heading out to Carathool to our new favourite camping spot along the river, the boys saying it has the best fishing. They had already been out there the night before so were feeling a little under the weather when the girls arrived. We had a bit of fishing, with not much luck so just retired around the fire for a relaxing evening with potatoes cooked in the coals, and a toasted marshmallow or 2. YUM!
THEN it was up very early for me, watching the sun rise over the paddocks, to make it back to town to shower before heading out to Ardlethan for a colour run. 5.5km run put on by the Ardlethan school to raise awareness for mental health for Riverina Bluebell. It was pretty cute for a little country town and they were so much busier then they ever anticipated, making it take a long time to catch the buses to the start point. There were water stations and paint stations at each K, where the oldies on their mobility scooters were throwing paint on everyone. And of course at the finish was the big finally paint session. Jill and I were there to massage afterwards to help advertise ourselves and donate the money to the charity, however we only massaged 1 person each! We didn't care though as the atmosphere was awesome and so relaxing with live music and a BBQ.

The clinic has been going very well lately witth most of my appointments spots being full and a lot of amazing feedback from clients who say often that it was the best massage they have ever had! Makes me feel awesome and nice to know that what I am doing is good. I am studying the diploma still and enjoy it a lot though don't have much time to really get into it. My first actual class starts this coming weekend, where I am in Albury for 2 days. I can't wait to meat everyone doing the course and learn more from the teacher. Though Em and Steve won't be there to visit them, as they will be in Melbourne, I will still stay at their house.
BIG news for Damien. He has officially created and is director of a company MIA METALWORKS. Something he was probably always going to do, and when the opportunity came up with his work place closing down, he jumped on it. Its taken him a bit of organising to get loans, material and equipment but it is starting to come together. He has been working like crazy though doing some very long hours, being the only worker there and not being able to afford an employee just yet he has taken on all of the work load. Hopefully it will calm down soon and settle into normal hours, though owning the place it will always be a fairly full on...

Oh! I want to do a colour run! We'll have to do one together some time.. Can't wait for you to be coming to Albury regularly so I can get one of those best ever massages!!
Very proud of you - your skills, wanting to improve on them, and donating your time. You are getting to be quite the businesswoman!
