After having to reschedule their wedding a few times due to COVID Sarah Dossetor and Brad Clarke got married at Whitton's newest function centre the Malt House. We were all keeping an eye on the rain for the weeks leading up to it and low and behold it was a drizzly day but not enough to dampen our spirits and nothing an umbrella couldn't fix. It was pretty exciting to see Sarah arriving on a helicopter! It was also just really nice to be out! We haven't had many events or excuses to dress up for 2 years, thanks COVID.
Dad arrived Sunday arvo and it was straight into it with a trip to Bunnings. The sand arrived and we got stuck in, Damien had a day off work to help out, even his worker was at the house to pull down the garden shed. The first day was a nice sunny day...
Then the rain settled in BUT that didn't stop dad from getting the job done between down pours. I ended up working that day and checked in to shovel a load of cement between clients! He ended up finishing the 2 sides with 2 coats each, and now to paint it...
Wax on wax off
Meanwhile we of course had to head dup the hill to claim the bonsai tree Dad has been talking about for over a year since he was last here and spotted it. If anyone was to come up the path the plan was to throw it back in the bush... It was a fun mid week walk.
Ruby has been given a 3rd time lucky chance at having a bonsai... lets see if we can all look after this one better. She also spent that day at HIGH SCHOOL for a full day of transition. She loved it and felt important in her big kid uniform. Her highlight was buying 2 iced coffees at the canteen!
We went for a short walk back out at Cocoparra after the recent rain and saw the most water coming over the falls i've ever seen.

Lookin’ good! The rendering and the sexy lady!
Love the wedding photos. And the great rendering job!
I thought you would put your defender driving vid in the blog Kez🤣🤣👍
I hope your blog is not for public viewing Kez. Not sure if our tree gathering excercise was entirely legal 😮
