It’s been a good distraction to have had so much on lately. Though disappointed we couldn’t have the family reunion for John’s 80th it was a great weekend with Em and Steve in Griffith helping do a few odd jobs around their house. Ie chop some wood, move some stuff around and paint the side of the house, even getting Damien to paint!!
Steve made some pizza dough to try out the pizzas in the Webber. Though the late nights and hay fever made for an exhausting weekend with us all needing a nap.
After having to cancel and change the date several times Sarah Dossetor and Brads wedding is coming up so we went out to Yarren wines to celebrate her hens. Was nice just being out!
We bought our couch a few years ago going for the boho look, unfortunately it lost its fluffiness, was too low to the ground, we found ourselves just going to bed as we were uncomfortable, wasn’t appropriate for having hip replacements and babies. So we bought a new one, ordered it 18 weeks ago and finally the day arrived to go pick it up! I was a little nervous about the colour and configuration however I absolutely LOVE it. Being able to recline is the BEST! We went over for one night and stayed with Stem of course having bacon and egg rolls for brekky. I sold the old one on buy swap for $1000 thankfully.
Everyone it too scared to sit on it though.
