Myles turns 2

We were all organised to go to Albury to celebrate Myles big 2 birthday. However the day before we were to go Albury had a Covid case and locked down for 7 days! Bloody Covid. We held the fort worried that Griffith would kick down too however the following weekend it was a go ahead. Damien and I took Friday off and enjoyed going out for breakfasts, packing without rushing and headed off to Albury. We went nuts in Kmart being excited at all of the 2 year old toy options for Myles. We ended over buying as usual as we wanted it all, and wrapped it in the boot in the car park. 

We arrived and checked out Ems pregnant belly, opens some presents and waited for mum and John to arrive. Steve arrived after work and we had some Jones street Kiev’s. The main reason Damien wanted to go was for the Jones st! 

Saturday morning we enjoyed brioche bun bacon and egg rolls, has to be a tradition now… and went for a walk to try out the new frisbee, also of course a stop past Jones street for some take back to Griffith buys.

We went to the park for have some cake for Myles rainbow theme celebration and fly a kite. Ended with a cranky Myles not wanting to go home and head butting Em in the nose! 

That night we were pretty buggered after some more jones st with Apples and Chris everyone dropped like flies leaving the fire place and headed to bed pretty early. 

Next day lots of lazing in the sun and coffees before heading off to Baby Bunting for some research. We didn’t buy anything but now have a better understanding of what the hell capsules and seats are and have already found some of the stuff on buy swap… thanks for a great weekend Stem.
