Ruby turns 11! We can’t believe it’s been a whole year since her last crazy water fight party which was the last weekend of freedom before COVID restrictions hit Australia. We learnt our lesson not to invite 17 kids this time! A small group of girls were invited to watch a movie on the big screen. We had a lot of fun setting up the couches and speakers. I had abdominal surgery 3 days before so was still in a lot of pain, so thankfully Lisa came down for the event. Mum and John had been looking after me through the week also so thankfully helped get some presents wrapped and the cake started.
Ruby and Damien were the only ones who followed instructions and wore their pjs. After some sugar the girls were not interested in watching a PG movie so had fun running around the yard, doing some dance kareoke. Damien, Lisa and I watched more of the movie. Either way Ruby had a great time and has a great group of girl friends. She really is very lucky!
