I have always wanted to organise an edible messy play event so decided Jazmin's birthday was a great opportunity. A client of mine, who runs small kids parties, offered to buy the tuff trays and lend them to me for free in exchange for use of my photos for their advertising as they want to start running these events. I spent a week dyeing spaghetti and sourcing items for each theme. We had
-bugs in coloured spaghetti
-pigs in cornflour and cocoa mud
-sea animals in jelly and crushed cheerios
-Construction vehicles in various cereals
-Chia seed dino swamp
-Plant a flower crushed biscuits and pots
The kids loved the sweat edible themes ie jelly and chocolate biscuits however were too tidy for our liking so Kate started a spaghetti food fight. Mum made my fave carrot cake for the cake and we decorated it with stuff from the trays and everyone got a party bag that had items themed to each tray as well.
On her actual birthday we had the traditional presents in bed and croissants. The fam came over that evening for a smash cake.
