HOLIDAYS AND BACK TO SCHOOL

So.. i have a bit to chatch up on. My first semester of uni is over, after alot of stress ARABIAN NIGHTS show was a success though i was glad it was over. Bump out didnt take too long, we were quite happy to rip everything down. Then there was THE EXAM for Visual Communication then home to start working again at good ol' BERTOLDO's. Nothing has changed there except for a few of the staff, otherwise its still the bitchyest place on earth. Next holidays i would like to try for a job at the Griffith Regional Theatre, even if its just ashar or office work at least im getting closer to the industry of my course... WORK EXPERIENCE... after 3 and a bit weeks there John and I headed to NEWCASTLE to visit Dad etc. After a long bus/train ride overnight Dad picked us up and we went shopping for SKIING CLOTHES (cheap ones). Did a fare bit of shopping, ate great food (bit of a change from dining hall), went fishing, walked on the beach, ate fish and chips while looking at the ocean. We picked Em up from the airport on the Wednsday and visited NANNA and POP for lunch and GRANDMA and ARNOLD for afternoon tea. Then there was the ??? hour trip back to Griffith... When we arrived at the bus station and the bags were being unloaded and JOHN's BAG WASNT THERE, let me tel you he wasnt very happy about it, anyway LUCKILY it was there amongst the bags in the second bus PHEW!!









Now im back at uni for my second semester but i'll talk about that in the next blog, for now its BACK TO SCHOOL!!!!! Was very annoying having to buy a school girl dress when we own so many SOMEWHERE, but i loved the ones we eventually found we were told they looked like the summer bay uniforms from Home and Away. It was a cold but good night, everyone looked so much younger and I could imagine them when they were actuall y at school.
