Bathurst

One of Damien’s old school friends Pete Kroak got married over the weekend in Bathurst. The funny thing was I already knew his bride Mel from uni, they met in Sydney at a pub, completely separate to any Griffith connections… Damien and Pete hit it off each time they see each other as thoogh no time has passed. Was also good for him to catch up with some other school friends. 

We booked a fancy apartment months ago, as soon as we got the save the date, which was lucky as everyone else seemed to get the dregs of accomodation. It was a great relaxing weekend away together. Damien drove down from Sydney as he is there this week installing stuff for a roof top bar in central Sydney! Which meant I had to drive myself.. 

I knew there would be some uni people there as Mel studied TV production, however I didn’t expect Bec to be there! We used to live together in Nappy Alley! And she just had a baby 11 days prior! It was really awesome to see them. I also met up with Pink on Sunday for brunch, another blast from the past that felt really good!
