Damien and I headed over to Albury Friday afternoon even though we knew Myles was a close contact to COVID at daycare! He had a negative RAT test before we came so we felt ok to visit… we’d had a pretty hectic storm the day before so there was A LOT of water over the road. 

We arrived for afternoon snacks, games and present giving. Myles loved his new bubble machine while it lasted. We got to meet the new arrival Elliott and have a snuggle. He was a bit restless though going through a cluster feed, drinking like crazy! Damien and Steve tried to finish the keg. 

Woke up Saturday morning to the news… Myles has covid. Vomiting through the night and a positive RAT test that morning. So we packed up and went home. There was a lot less water on the road heading home. And now we’re isolating and and will wait and monitor symptoms… I guess it was only a matter of time.

So it’s positive! We’ve spent the week isolating with what feels like a normal head cold, a day or 2 of fevers and now just feeling dizzy whenever we stand up. Damien’s watched all 8 seasons of Weeds and I’ve done some cooking and de cluttered some cupboards. We’re still testing pogo or at day 7 so hoping it’s not much longer till we can get back to work and earn some money!
