Messie Wedding

Bessie and Mehdi
Well after the Mad Hatter Tea hens party there comes the wedding, Bessie and Mehdi got married in a beautiful ceremony by a pond surrounded by a lush garden. Defiantly somewhere I would love to get married. Was just amazing as Mehdi is from Morocco so this was the theme. Mehdi and his family wore traditional attire, and looked so compfy. Sarah (Bessie's sister wore an awesome elaborate traditional gown) and of course bessie wore her gorgeous wedding dress that juts suited her to a tee.
It was a great ceremony starting with the cutest kid chucking rose petals down the isle. Was great to dress up with the girls as we haven't been to anything fancy all together at all yet. Was fun spending a few days fretting over outfits. getting hair, makeup and nails done, any excuse for some pampering. And Damien even got a haircut!!

Post ceremony we enjoyed some campers under the trees while Bessie and Mehdi took some pics. And we took the time to do the same, capturing some great memories.
I don't have any pics of the venue but it was amazingly decorated with Arabian style lamps and each table was named after a Moroccan town. The food was to die for and the favours were Moroccan spices with recipes for cooking lamb etc.

Of course we all enjoyed the speaches, which were spoken in half English and Moroccan, food, cake and dancing. Was a great night. My favourite was when I caught Bessie at the bar mixing her own Gin and Tonic, as the bar staff 'wouldn't make it properly', classic Bessie.

And now the excitement of a BABY due in October (I think) whoo hoo!! The serious adulting is starting in our group of friends. With Kate and Drew also announcing their engagement.
Straight after the proposal still wearing their fishing waders

Very cool looking place and theme for a wedding. Makes it so much more relaxing.
