I randomly decided to host a dinner party with an Arabian nights theme! I have always wanted to do an Aladdin inspired party with carpets etc around...

so I did a bit of pintresting and found an Arabian feast on a budget and got cooking. I prepared for the whole week making a new dish each day chipping, grinding, grating, mixing! Was good to sample the salads throughout the week.
They say arrived and Damien and I started stinging up as many wall hangings, curtains and sheets that we could scramble together even taking the sheets off our bed and the spare bed!! I had borrowed mum and rugs which we put randomly on the floor (they needed to bring them in to be dry cleaned anyway so I just got them all rolling, your welcome!) the couch went outside and lots of candles were lit!!

I made a belly dancing top with a bra and fabric and beads from spotlight. Cocktails were made starting with an espresso martini, YUM!!!

Needless to say everyone had a ball and were highly impressed with the food! Feta, hummus, herbs, salads, lamb coftas, and yum chicken all marinated in GARLIC and herbs!!! Even Katherine from Malta was impressed wanting the recipe...
I just want to do it all over again.
