Back to work!

After 7 months of not working it is a little bit of a shock to the system to be back working, poor me! Back to factory life and 12 hour shifts, though it is nice to see the figures rising in my bank account. This year I am working at McWilliams Winery for the vintage period and it has been a lot different to Casella. I have learnt a lot more about wine making and big company operations, as the job involves more administration and behind the scenes rather then just precessing trucks. SO MUCH paperwork! It is starting to calm down now, hence me writing this blog at work, as this vintage is the shortest many of the permanents have seen for the past 30 years due to frost through the year and the extreme temperatures during harvest, it is quite disapointing not only for my savings account but the farmers are really struggling. So I think I need to start thinking about life plan #5875754411111...

I think I will be starting my massage diploma in the next few months at Wagga tafe, meaning I have to drive to Wagga every Monday for classes, and need to find work for 3 days a week as well as set up a massage business from the garrage! I'm also setting myself back up here in Australia as I'd pretty much cancelled everything before I travelled ie insurance and memberships etc so a lot of organising.

Pink and Nina have been living with us during vintage though we havn't seen each other at all being on such random shifts. Pink, Damien and I did got to go to the Carathool Races which was a 45 degree scorcher, though we still had a good time and the late night got me ready for night shifts. Other then that there hasn't been much time for socialising or activities as the hours at work have been huge or iv'e been sleeping all day, not even having time for the gym. Hopefully when it all calms down a bit I can join a yoga class and get back into it. Though I am back and being all serious and back to reality, of course I am still planning the next 10 trips...

Hey what's going on. I read this ages ago but noticed that I haven't left a comment. Oh well, I did say you had to pretend to drop the 1970ish number and smuggle it out for me. Would make a great Xmas present!!!!!
