Fun times

Carathool Races- We got our bogan on again for this years Carathool races and had another great night. Lots of beers, dirt, betting and fun the only thing missing were the horses!!! The ground being too uneven for them to run races, instead we bet on the Melbourne events at the TAB, and cheered on the human running races. Having learnt our lesson last year we didn't even attempt to wear heels and ruffed it in thongs, much more appropriate footwear. trudged to the pub, slept in a swag and woke up covered in dirt and scratches BUT content....

HOUSE WARMING- Of course when you move into a new house you must have a house warming. We had invited a few people around for a BBQ and the list just seamed to get longer and longer, until it became an accidental party... Nina and I went to the pub Friday night (the night before) and sat trying to think of a gimmick to spice things up a little, after thinking more and more we ended up deciding to have a full blown carnival party. With the help yet again of the ol' costume collection we managed to pull the decor together in under 2 hours to the surprise of every guest who were no expecting a theme/costumes. We had a rack of costumes for everyone to wear!!

 

All in all a great night of costumes, twister, limbo, Casella beers, friends, dancing and fun...

Casella!! Still plotting along at work, its been raining a bit lately so not getting much work but hopefully its the last of the bad rain for the moment. I have successfully applied to work on the Olives harvest straight after vintage, its 12 hour/day 6 days/week and goes for 8 weeks. THEN will finally get myself overseas!! I have a little bit of a plan happening after talking to a few people and am learning Spanish at the weighbridge for when I get to SPAIN!!!!
