The day finally arived and we set off from Wagga for a weeks adventure in the big smoke, arriving at Sam Capelin's work Channell 10 late Wednesday night, then to his place in Manly.
We spent a day shopping and going out for dinner. Dan took us to his local cocktail bar where there was a table waiting for us and very friendly service! Also very tasty cocktails!!!
One day at the Powerhouse, where the car got towed as we had parked in a clear-away zone WOOPS!!! Spent forever ringing numbers t locate it down the road! Only a $175 towing fine thankfully we weren't fined by the cops also. We went to see the Harry Poter exhibition which was really interesting to see all of the movie props and costumes up close.

Then saw the Wiggles museum and had fun playing on all of the kids interactive things but was also educational as well.
We packed a picnic and headed down to Manly Beach to devour a delicious salad, fish and chips...

We also went to Toronga Zoo for a day which was pretty fun and interesting to see all of the animals. The zoo has such an amazing view of the city, was defiantly a great tourist thing to do. We wanted to climb the bridge but it is too expensive, however it is still on my bucket list to do one day!

Saturday was the day of the festival HOMEBAKE and we were planning on going out after so left our stuff at Emma's (where we stayed that night) and packed a bag of clothes to change into, then headed to the 'festy'. It was a fun filled day with a lot of GREAT bands and sun!! Very tiring after a long week of walking around but oh so worth it.

Then off to the PUB for some shots and cider! Quite a late night and a very much appreciated sleep!! Some brunch and then back to Wagga we went....
Was great to see the girls who are now all grown up and heading out into the world of WORK!!! Tash still in Mildura (Radiography), Paula in Parks (Pharmacy) and Bec only recently getting a job in Orange! And me heading to Griffith for Vintage at Casellas wines before hopefully heading overseas.

I haven't been to the zoo since You were a Iittle baby. Sounds like you had a great time with some true friends.
What great times you've had recently - all very different experiences but all good.
