Week 1 the work begins...

Have had all my lectures (bar my elective photography as it was canceled) which have got me so excited about my course. My Visual Communications guy is a crack up, my Design guy has worked in Wagga (my boss Elisa Bertoldos' husband was offered this job and might be coming over to do some workshops with us, will be strange) We had an exercise where we had to rearrange a few chairs and tables to create meaning it was easier than expected. Thursdays are my longest days 9am-4:30pm, which is bad because UNI night is Wednesday mmm. I have a workshop then a lecture for Fundamentals of Design, then my elective PHOTOGRAPHY.


On Tuesday after class Jayde and I (a girl living with Paula) decided we would go into town and get our tongues pierced ahhhhh we were told you can't drink for 2 weeks after and since TOGA PARTY was on Wednesday i decided to hold off till Thursday BUT better get him to check my tongue make sure i can actually get it done BUT GUESS WHAT (Dad you will be glad) because im tongue tied I can't get it done grrrrrrrrr Jayde still got hers done while I was filming. Then on Wednesday went back to witness Holly get her nose pierced and Sam his ear (and another guy got his eyebrow done), I think everyones finished punching holes in themselves now.

I have so much time on my hands to 'study' Wednesdays and Fridays off and only 12 hours a week of lectures, whereas most people in my block are doing very science based courses and have 6 hours a day of lectures. Dining hall food isn't too bad my rooms not that small its all good (just wish JohnS was here, he's been in Tasmania working, should be in Wagga next weekend can't wait) Heres some pics of the piercings and our common room playing Guitar hero...
